K-TIPS
K-Tips and Micro K-Tips are both strand-by-strand extension methods that use a keratin bond to attach individual pieces of hair to the client’s natural hair. The main difference lies in the size: K-Tips are slightly larger bonds, ideal for full installs, maximum volume, and clients who want a dramatic transformation. Micro K-Tips, on the other hand, are smaller and lighter, making them perfect for finer hair, detailed areas like the hairline or crown, or clients who prefer a softer, more natural blend. Both types are applied using heat fusion and can last several months with proper care, offering flexibility, movement, and long wear. Many stylists also combine the two methods using 1 gram K-Tips throughout most of the head for fullness and Micro K-Tips in delicate sections for a seamless finish.
