Our story · A note from Katie
Your work was good.
The hair should have been, too.
I knew what it felt like to do an install I was proud of—and still be the one explaining why the hair wasn’t holding up.

I wasn’t trying to start a hair brand.
I was trying to solve a problem behind my chair.
I spent 16 years as a stylist, working with extensions for most of my career. For a long time, my focus was on education: refining my technique, learning, and creating better installs for my clients.
Then the conversations started changing.
From around 2017, and even more heading into 2020, I began experiencing problems with the hair I was using. Shedding. Blondes turning warm. Lost length. Tangling. Hair that didn’t hold up the way I needed it to.
My installation could be beautiful. But if the hair didn’t perform, my client still looked to me for the answer.
That was my reputation in the chair. My time spent troubleshooting. My client’s trust. I couldn’t educate my way around a product that wasn’t doing its part.
So I started looking beyond installation education and into sourcing hair myself.
I didn’t set out to build Peace Hair Co. I wanted hair I could rely on for my own clients. But the more conversations I had, the more I realized how many other stylists were carrying the same frustration.
What started as a solution for my chair became something I wanted to share.

What you’ll create
Most partnerships include 3–5 short-form videos per month and 1–2 story features. Show the shade, texture, installation, and finished result, and tag @peacehairco.
For stylists
5 videos, including at least one transformation and one educational or behind-the-chair clip.
For creators
3 videos, including at least one creative concept and one lifestyle or everyday-use video.
Your agreement confirms the deliverables and timeline before you begin.
What you receive
